Jeremy Duns is the author of the Paul Dark spy novels, Free Agent, Song Of Treason (originally titled Free Country) and The Moscow Option, published by Simon & Schuster in the UK, and by Penguin in the US. His journalism has been published by The Times, The Sunday Times, The Sunday Telegraph, The Guardian, The Independent, Time Out, Mojo and elsewhere. Free Agent was a Daily Telegraph Thriller of the Year in 2009, and was praised by William Boyd, Eric Van Lustbader, Gayle Lynds, Charles Cumming, Jeff Abbott, David Morrell and Christopher Reich. The Times called Song Of Treason ‘a masterly excursion back to the bad old days of the Cold War’, while The Guardian said it was ‘a treat for fans of traditional Len Deighton-style spy thrillers’. The BBC optioned the trilogy for television in 2009, but the option has now lapsed and TV and film rights are both currently available. Please see the Contact page for enquiries.
Jeremy’s latest book, Dead Drop, is a non-fiction investigation into the Oleg Penkovsky operation, and was published by Simon & Schuster UK in June 2013. He is currently working on the next Paul Dark novel, which will be largely set in Rhodesia in the 1970s.
